Great wall of China

Chairman Mao Zedong is known for a lot of things. Among others he coined the expression "No man is a man until he has climbed the Great Wall of China". Yesterday Amanda made me aware that exactly a year ago I became a man.

I know you've probably seen pictures of that wall, but it's hard to imagine how steep it really is until you're actually there. And that day it started to snow like hell while we were there. It's quite something to have been there during a weather like that. Partly because the view was quite astonishing in those thick clouds, but mostly because you were able to slide down every hill.
